Ei cred că o parte din creier este mai intens folosită. Este zona cu care văzătorii procesează semnalele vizuale. La nevăzători această parte nu este folosită pentru a vedea. Este liberă pentru a fi folosită altfel. Aşadar, nevăzătorii au o mai mare capacitate în a procesa limbajul.
